Hurricanger Vs. Gaoranger

Summary
The three Hurricanger fight the Magerappa. The trio jumps onto a rock edge near the shore. The trio looks up to see a white-gloved fist open to reveal its claws. Gao Red does his speech and the five present themselves as Gaoranger. Gao Red then says that they are working for the Jakanja. The Hurricanger freak out. The Gaorangers pull out their respective weapons. The kid's voices announce the title. Nanami is beat up by Gao White and then Gao Blue in the coean. Kouta is beat by Gao Yellow and Yousuke is pummeled by Gao Black and Red. They defend themselves with their weapons and Oboro calls them. The Gaorangers pull out their empty Gao Daggers. The five send a giant blast to the Hurricanger, they scream. There is only the three suits left on the ground. Gao Red grabs the red suit. Black examines the yellow suit. White bends down and looks under the blue suit. Gao Red says they will get them. Back at the Hurricane Base, Yousuke slams his left arm on the table, hurting him because that is the hurt arm. Kouta asks Oboro if they know who those were. Oboro says they are not Jakanja. The trio stands up in astonishment. "The Gaoranger… are sentai." The three gasp. Mugensai the hamster shows them the Super Sentai logo on their computer and it says Super Sentai in English, in 'ninja' font. It dissolves to an image of the five Gaoranger and then to images of their secret identities.  Mugensai explains about the five. Yousuke thinks the Jakanja put them under the influence. In the Centipede, Manmaruba talks about the Gaoranger. Chubozu enters, he is Chuzubo's little brother. He boasts about his plan. Wendinu, Furabijou, Sargain, Satorakura, and Manmaruba wear blinking necklaces. Satorakura grabs him and talks about Chuzubo's failure. Wendinu tells him not to mention it. Gao Red jumps up and fights the Goraijer. Oboru tells the hurricanger and Nanami cowers with her stuffed dolphin in her arms. The Goraijer fall out of an explosion and fall on a bridge. Ishuu suggests bringing together the Double Gadget. Before they can shoot, the Hurricanger slide in front of the Gaoranger. Ikkou tells them to get out of the way. Yousuke tells them that the Gaoranger are one of them, the sentai heroes. Ikkou can't believe it. The five de-transform, they are all wearing yellow gloves. The ninjas try to reason with them but the Gaoranger mock them. Gaku pulls Kouta forward and then pushes him backward from his chin. Nanami asks how can they fight for the Jakanja. Kai mocks her. Nanami wants to nail him but Kouta holds her back and Ikkou blocks her with his arm. Yousuke rushes to Kakeru and grabs him. Kakeru pushes Yousuke away. Kakeru readies to punch Yousuke and transforms into Gao Red in the process. Yousuke falls down.

The Gaoranger threaten them and call upon the Power Animals. They form Gao King. Ikkou tells Yousuke that they must fight. Instantly Sempujin and Gouraijin face Gao King. Yousuke pleads to the Gaoranger to reconsider. Ikkou says there is no choice but to fight. Gouraijin comes forward with its Plant Axe. Gao King thoroughly gets a pummeling from Gouraijin and it backs up. Nanami and Kouta try to convince Yousuke that the Goraijer needs their help. Yousuke grunts in conflicted anguish and bows his head down. Gao Giraffe chirps as it comes forward. Ikkou is astounded. The Giraffe becomes the spear and makes Gao King Giraffe Spear. It attacks the Gouraijin. The Goraijer yell and Gouraijin falls to the ground. Sempujin becomes Sempujin Harrier and flips forward toward Gao King.The fight between Gao King and Harrier is seen on a foggy rectangle screen in a cave. Tetomu is tied up to a column and the four Gao boys tied up together sitting on the floor. Kai is upset that the impostors are using the Power Animals. The four struggle. Tetomu hopes for help. Kakeru comments. Gaku says it is all up to Sae. Sae has a strange mark on her neck and is running forward. Sempujin Harrier plunges in midair, falling down. Sempujin all hurried down stands up and Gao King calls upon Animal Heart attack. A big explosion occurs and the Hurricanger cry in pain. Gao King's shark fin is about to strike until Sae yells for Tiger. Tiger is altered and bites the shark. Gao King backs up and the head looks at the tiger. Sae yells to the Gao King. The Lion roars and the animals reject the Gaoranger, they fall out. The animals split up. The Gaoranger see Sae. The five animals collectively do the Animal Heart. Like ninja, the Gaoranger dodge the attack. Yousuke is astounded. Sae faints.

Back with the kidnapped Gao boys, Chubozu is with them. He is angry about the current events caused by Sae. Kakeru smirks and Chubozu hits him in the face with his staff. Tetomu protests. In the Hurricanger base, the Shinobi Machines being repaired and Sae explains to Ikkou, Isshu, Yousuke, and Kouta about the kidnapping. We see in a flashback, Sae with the boys tied up in the cave. Chubozu pushed Tetomu forward. He had the five G-phones around his neck with a connecting chain. Sae then explained about the mark on her neck, a Jakanja sticker: A rectangular black strip. In present time, the four boys are chained on a wall in the cave. Chubozu laughs at them. His belt glows and the black strip are charged and the boys are electrically shocked. Yousuke tells the group that they must save the Gaoranger. Ikkou comments that the Jakanja may have made an alliance with someone. Back at the cave, Chubozu has surprise for the Gao boys and Tetomu. Out of the cave's clearing, Tsuetsue and Yabaiba come in chuckling and tease them. Yousuke says that they must save the Gaoranger. The other boys are being poked around by Tsuetsue and Yabaiba. Tsuetsue swears revenge. Yousuke, Kouta, Nanami, Ikkou, Isshu, and Sae run outside. The five yellow-gloved Gao clones, in human form arrive. Yellow-gloved Gaku waves his hand around and his head suddenly opens up in three pieces revealing an ant speaking in a squeaky voice. The Gaoranger's facades dissolve to reveal the Jakanja: Sargain, Wendinu, Satorakura, Furabiijou, and Manmaruba. All of the Jakanja shows their stolen G-phone as they laugh sinisterly. Satorakura tells them it's time to transform. "Gao Access!" Sargain presents himself as Gao Yellow with his own voice this time. Wendinu presents herself as Gao Blue with her voice and her personal feminine stance. Manmaruba as Gao Black and Furabiijou as Gao White, when you think she will not add her own style, she leans her head and right arm off and says, "Naee." Satorakura as Gao Red, he shows a sign that says "4 x 4 = 16" and does the regular Gao Red stance. He says that aren't guardians of the earth… Gaoranger.

Ikkou and Isshu give each other a quick look and pull off from the group. They stand in front of the four others in battle mode. Ikkou calls Yousuke, Kouta and Nanami. Isshu says they'll fight and they must go get the real Gaoranger. Yousuke stutters. "Just a moment!" a familiar voice booms. A green blur zooms past the Gaoranger, blasting them and skirts to the Goraijer's side and we hear a tire screeching sound. Shurikenger tells them to go. They split up and Satorakura pleads them not to go, but is content he can fight. The Gaoranger pull out their Jakanja weapons. Outside near the cave, the Hurricanger and Sae fight Magerappa. Chubozu comes along and grabs Yousuke by the neck. He is tossed but Yousuke lands on his feet in between his teammates. Chubozu tells them that they will pay. Sargain/Yellow beats up Ikkou. Ikkou falls down and then a huge Blue foot comes and stomps him. Just like Wendinu's illusion attack, she does it as Gao Blue, becoming a big head and blasting Ikkou with her clawed hand. Manmaruba/Black fights Isshu. Satorakura/Red totally smacks Shurikenger with his Lion Fangs. Shurikenger falls to the ground but picks himself up into the air trying to get Satorakura/Red. But Furabiijou/White comes in the way, opening her palm and blasting him. The real Kakeru is pushed to the ground by Yabaiba. The boys get their spirits up with a rousing speech. Kai and Soutarou spout out "Never give up!" In the desert, seven standing pillars among a couple of fallen down ones. The Weather is windy, we see a man in Arab grab come from a pillar. Something calls him. He takes out a silver orb and it shimmers. The transformed Hurricanger are blasted down. Sae shouts for them and comes to their aid. Chubozu's belt glows and Sae is in pain, her black strip causes an electric shock to her. Kouta notices that Chubozu's belt is controlling all of this. Kouta and Yousuke do a double attack on Chubozu. Yousuke's Hayatemaru punctures through Chubozu's belt. Sae's black strip falls off her neck and Nanami reassures her. With a wave of his staff, Chubozu disappears.

In the cave, a black strip falls down on the ground and sizzles away. Yabaiba and Tsuetsue cower in fear. Kakeru gets up. Kai shouts. Yabaiba and Tsuetsue shake more in fear. They call for the Magerappa. The boys fight them. Yabaiba and Tsuetsue disappear. Outside, the un-transformed trio and Sae run while the boys and Tetomu run out of the cave. Sae is happy to be reunited. Kakeru thanks them. They say they would do anything for partner heroes. They then notice the Goraijer and Shurikenger flying out of an explosion.  Un-transformed Ikkou and Isshu cry in pain. The others come to them. Tetomu watches from a distance. The real Gaoranger tell the fakes one they will pay. Satorakura claps and blast takes the five back. Satorakura uses the Falcon Summoner. A big explosion occurs landing all eleven on the floor. Satorakura tosses the Falcon Summoner away and laughs. He even does taunting "Moose" antlers with his hands. We see all eleven groan in pain. Yabaiba and Tsuetsue come out of the bushes and laugh at victory. Tsuetsue comes closer to the fallen eleven and cheers for the final defeat on the Gaoranger. Yabaiba weeps and Satorakura/Red pats him. Chubozu pushes Yabaiba aside. Chubozu and the Jakanja-Gaoranger come forward menacingly with Yabaiba and Tsuetsue celebrating behind them. Out of the sky comes the Wolf Roader and hits all six baddies. Yousuke, Kakeru, and Isshu watch in astonishment from the ground. It is the guy from the desert, Shirogane on the Wolf Roader. Yabaiba and Tsuetsue are shocked to see their old accomplice. He comes off his bike. Tetomu comes to him with his G-brace-phone. He puts on and pulls out his arm up high. A wolf howls and the Gao Lion roars from his mountaintop. The other Animal's eyes glow. The lion symbol on the Gao Red suit glows. The Jakanja-Gaorangers glow and the Jakanja groan. Yousuke calls Kouta and Nanami. They go forward to the five glowers and do the ninja attack with the silhouettes. Electric charges and the glow leaves, the Jakanja de-transform and fall. The G-phones fly upward. The trio are successful. They put their Hayatemarus back in their hostlers.

The G-phones land back in their rightful owner's hands. Shirogane slides over to the middle of his old teammates. "Thank you Hurricanger." Tetomu gives the Gaoranger their jackets. The Hurricanger and the Goraijer transform. Shurikenger goes into Fire Mode. "Gao Access!" The Gaoranger transform. The Gaoranger, Shurikenger, Goraijer and Hurricanger do their roll calls. "Asanjo!" Big explosion occurs behind the twelve. The bad guys go forward to fight but Satorakura stays behind, lying on the ground. Furabiijou and Wendinu pick him up. Yousuke and Kakeru fight Chubozu. He pushes his staff on the ground and a big illusion staff comes in between the two Reds and smashes the ground. Kakeru and Yousuke attack Chubozu. Manmaruba on his bike against Gaosilver on his Wolf Roader and Kabutoraijer on his Bari Thunder. Manmaruba comes off his bike and on to Kabuto's to strangle him. Silver stops him with his bike's laser eyes. Gao Yellow flies with Yabaiba and smacks him with a mountain. Yabaiba falls down to be knocked out by Hurricane Yellow's Quick Hammer. Gao White knocks Furabiijou on the head with her Tiger Baton. Hurricane Blue fights Tsuetsue and pushes water on the witch. Gao White slashes Wendinu in the face. Agonized Wendinu gathers with Tsuetsue and Furabiijou brings her a mirror. White and Blue tease Wendinu and she sends a pink mouth blast to them, knocking them down. White and Blue attack the trio. Sargain pushes Kuwagata back near some water and Gao Blue comes out of the water.

He hits the robot and Kuwagata uses his weapon. Gao Black fights Satorakura, Shurikenger shoots fire at him. Sargain, Manmaruba, Satorakura and the girls gather. Gao Silver comes along. Shurikenger does his ball attack and Gao Silver does laser pool attack. The five are knocked down. The trio slashes Chubozu. Yabaiba and Tsuetsue fall down and are with Chubozu. The heroes gather. Each team gets their respective weapons together. The Victory Gadget and Hyakujuuken are formed against Yabaiba, Chubozu and Tsuetsue. "Say bye-bye!" Yabaiba and Tsuetsue say their goodbyes and Chubozu holds a familiar black scroll. Screams are heard and an explosion occurs. A black scroll pops out of the explosion and it opens up revealing a giant Chubozu. He knows how to use his last chance as he pulls out three cards. The three cards become big and reveal Jingiron The Mirage Ninja, Kangaruretto The Disaster Ninja, and Girigirigaishi. The six Gaoranger call their Power Animals. Lion, Bison, Tiger, Eagle, Shark, Alligator, Wolf, and Hammer come down. The ninjas call their Shinobi Machines. Gao Hunter and Gao King Sword and Shield are formed. Tenkujin, Gouraijin, and Sempujin all suesan.  Girigirigaishi fights Gao Hunter, Kangaruretto fights Gao King, Jingiron fights Tenkujin, and Chubozu against Gouraijin and Sempujin. Tenkujin becomes a helicopter and chops the ground and buries down Jingiron. Gao Hunter brings Girigirigaishi down with its gator rotator.

Kangaruretto does a fire attack against Gao King. Gao Hunter tosses its boomerang to throw off Kangaruretto. The Gaorangers use their whip against Kangaruretto and for the final attack Silver does the Beast Hurricane. Kangaruretto is destroyed. Gouraijin uses its Plant Axe's Axe Cutter attack on Chubozu. Chubozu attacks Sempujin and Gouraijin. Familiar green skin and yellow-rimmed glasses appear and electrocutes the mecha. Chuzubo appears behind them. They are clearly shocked. He sends fire on them. Yousuke tells them it is time to combine. They form Goraisempujin. They punch Chuzubo backwards and it disappears. The remaining illusions Jingiron and Girigirigaishi gather with Chubozu and he holds hands with the other two baddies. They glow and create lots of energy and bust up the mecha Goraisempujin's right arm falls off. Soul Bird flies the Gaoranger out of an explosion. The Power Animals fall down. Tenkujin and Gao Gator are injured too. Everyone is okay except for Yousuke who his right arm is bleeding pretty badly. Soul Bird flies by. The three monsters surround Goraisempujin. Gao Lion tells Kakeru he can't fight but something can be done. Yousuke thinks all is lost. Kakeru runs inside Yousuke's cockpit and he tells Yousuke that there is a chance the Shinobi Machines can combine with the Power Animals. Gao Shark and Tiger roar. Gao Shark and Tiger form the arms of Goraisempujin. Gao Elephant comes along and they make a new formation. Goraisempujin Sword and Shield! Mugensai the hamster is surprised. Oboro, who has seen other mecha combine with hers, is not so surprised. The baddies send a blast to the new combo but it blocks it. Jingiron and Girigirigaishi charge forward. Yousuke and Kakeru call an attack from the red cockpit. The mecha slashes them twice with its sword and they explode. Shurikenger comes flying in his mecha with a guest in his cockpit---Gao Silver. The Power Animals separate, the good left arm comes back and Tenkujin becomes the other arm making Tenkugoraisempujin (which hasn't technically been done before).  Tenkugoraisempujin goes up against Chubozu. Kakeru says that they will use all the spirit power of the animals. They do the Tornado attack with Bison, Eagle, Lion, Tiger, Shark, and Wolf at their side and the Ikazuchi, Shuriken, and Hayate logos behind them at the upper row. They send the blast to the baddie and Chubozu blows up. Everyone celebrates, Shurikenger looks around, but Silver is lone gone. Kakeru grabs Yousuke by the shoulders but he is still in pain. Kakeru pleads for forgiveness.

Tetomu looks sadly at Silver's G-brace-phone. Shirogane hands his jacket at her. Shirogane gets on his bike with his robe on. Shurikenger jumps in. "Hey you." Shirogane asks if he is going to say goodbye to the others. Shirogane says it would be hard to say goodbye. Shurikenger asks where he is going and Shirogane says to go ask the wind. Shurikenger puts his head down but brings it back up with a laugh, "You just have to be so cool, don't you?" Nevertheless, Shirogane races off.  In the Hurricanger base, Tetomu messes up Oboro's equipment by playing with it. Oboro runs in to get Tetomu away. Tetomu tries to sneak away but is stopped by Oboro. Tetomu makes a cute face, "what?" Ikkou in a black undershirt playfully roughhouses with Soutarou outside. They are with one of Oboro's robots. They realize that they both thought they won. Sae and Nanami gawk at cute outfits at a mall. Suddenly they are pigging out with lots of food. Gaku fights Kouta and is tricked by a ninja jacket on hay. They both fight with their swords and tell each other that they are good fighters. Kai rushes to a courtyard where there are lots of girls. They all run off. The girls are run up the stairs to Isshu. Isshu is himself stunned. Kai can't believe it. Isshu asks for help from the massive crowd. Mugensai plays in Yousuke's hands. Kakeru puts an orthoscope on the hamster.  Yousuke (with a sling on his arm) asks if he can turn him back into a human. He then says he is healthy and cute. Kakeru kisses him. Mugensai protests and Yousuke gapes. He then has a thought bubble, we see the ugly old man the cute hamster really is. Later, the gang shake hands and say their good byes. The Gaoranger walk off and the ninja stand still. The five walk their separate ways. Yousuke and Ikkou swear they will do their best. The five passionately transform. The five jump into the sky and freeze frame. The same colored curtain from the last episode comes to a close but from the sides so there is a crease in the center.

My Opinion
Some fans say this is short but it is pretty action packed. Running at approx. 41 minutes, with everything that happens to have a lot in it and must have been a lot for them to film. What it does have is a healthy 'versus' to it with a twist. Most teamups want try to force the 'versus' things but many of the teams don't have anything to be against another. When you are watching you know Gaoranger would never pull for the bad side so you are then confused when the kids are out of their suits and are bad. I noticed the yellow gloves on all their hands and I thought they are brainwashing them. Miu Takeuchi (Sae/Gao White) did a great job at mimicking Furabiijou. Many liked Takeru Shibaki's (Kai/Gao Blue) portrayal of Wendinu. There were cool effects like Gaku's (Gao Yellow) face splitting into pieces like Sargain. Shirogane, like most sixth rangers in teamups gets a cameo. Tetomu serves absolutely no purpose… as usual. I wish the small scenes of the two teams doing stuff together was longer… yes, mainly because Soutarou and Ikkou roughhousing. It was hard to team up the colors but they did wonderfully well. Bringing in Chuzubo's brother Chubozu was a good idea but would have worked better for the movie because it is more suited for a Hurricanger thing than a joint venture. We all knew the Shinobi Machines and Power Animals were going to combine because the toys did. It was great, but it did take so long for it to happen, just wish they did more combinations. Did we really need Tenkugoraisempujin? We don't care about Hurricanger combos; it could've been shoved in a Hurricanger episode. All and all, good plot points and great moments. But does it really show off the qualities of both shows like the past teamups? Somewhat, but not really but it doesn't matter after watching it. Frankly, the Hurricanger cast looks terribly tired.
