Timeranger vs. GoGoV

Summary
The Tatsumi  siblings are stopping a fire at a building. It is no mere accident, its BoriBaru (a boxer criminal) who caused the attack. The siblings stand in defense against the creep but he blasts them. The Timerangers land from the Time Flyer and introduce themselves. A familiar figure in a robe watches as this happens. The timerangers try to refreeze BoriBaru with the Vol Tech Bazooka but somehow he was invulnerable. A crowd watch in amazement. BoriBaru then gets a weapon on his right arm (the one in the picture, top center). He blasts the Timerangers and literally blows them away crashing them on glass (Pink), boxes (Yellow and Green) and walls (Blue and Red). The mutant walks away. Matoi complains to the Timerangers that they didn't do they job and that they lack spirit.

While at the Londarz Prison, Boribaru says he is an awesome champion. Gien is amazed that he didn't get captured by the Vol Tech Bazooka. The robe guy laughs and comes in saying that the reason that he wasn't beaten was because of the evil power of darkness he gave him. Don Dorunero asks who he is and he reveals himself as Pierre of the Siama Clan. Lila asks what that is. Gien says he knows of it. Pierre asks to join the Londarz Clan and has been observing their activities. Pierre seemed to survive the GoGo Five attack. Lila makes her point clear that she doesn't want the 'stinky fly-man' to join.

At Tommorow Research, Sion checks the Escalator (Vol Tech Bazooka) on the computer and says nothing is wrong with it. Tatsuya keeps thinking about what Matoi said about lacking spirit. Yuuri asks what's the matter and Tatsuya said it was about yesterday. Domon said to forget about the snobby rescue agent. Just then, the Tatsumi siblings walk in. The time crew are shocked and amazed by pointing at them. The siblings simply don't know what they were discussing. They sit drinking tea. Matoi says their business there is that they want their father Mondo Tastsumi, who has been missing for three months, to be found. They show a picture of them in GoGoV suits with no helmets with their dad. Tatsuya all amazed asks if they are famous team GoGoV who fought the Saima Clan. Matoi says kinda of. Ayase and Domon say, 'Who?' Daimon and Nagare explain that their father took their GoGo Braces and they can't transform into GoGoV without them. Matoi says he doesn't think the 'Timeman' can defeat the Londarz Clan. The siblings start badmouthing the Timerangers and the time clan tense up. I find it funny that they don't notice that they are the Timerangers since behind them are lockers that have stickers of the Timeranger helmets.

Takku starts to speak and the siblings freak out. Takku says their is danger, the Timerangers jump to action and leave the siblings stranded. Five Londarz Criminals walk through the city and look familar. They all look exactly like criminals that were once captured. They are seeking revenge. They are Dogoru's twin brother, Rearu; Reihou's sister, Rupia; Oogu's uncle, Battsu; Geymark's cousin, Dinaaru; and Blaster Mad's neighbor, Sealing (How is a neighbor suppose to look the same?). The Timerangers transform but before they do, they throw their clothes on the siblings. "They are the timerangers!", Matsuri said. Matoi asks, "By any chance, did I say anything rude to them just before?" Daimon shouted, "Now we're screwed!" Pierre throws evil cards on the five criminals and they get powered up with red energy. The timerangers blast them but no go, it all reflects back to them. The siblings notice Pierre who is also looking for revenge, he blasts them. BoriBaru and Pierre is about to kill them when, a dude in a motorcycle bumps them. He reveals himself as Mondo, the kid's father. He hands them their GoGo Braces. He said he sensed 'minus energy'. The siblings change into GoGoV. They fight the five. TimeGreen applauds them, TimeYellow says, "It's no time for you to stand around and be impressed!" Lila and Don Dorunero complain to Pierre and he says he hasn't even started. He powers up BoriBaru and his energy oepns a time portal. This time portal distorts the space and time continuum and sucked up all of them (Timerangers, GoGoV and the five criminals). BoriBaru jumps in as well. Pierre celebrates.

In an Ancient Asian town where there is a Buddhist statue, Daimon and Shou run from warriors. They are rescued from Domon and Sion. Yuuri and Matsuri end up in a 'wild old west' empty town. Native americans attack them and they fight them. They happen to be Zenitth. They capture the girls with ropes. The robots are shot down by Nagare and Ayase who come as cavalry on horses with pistols in hands. The GoGoV don't understand where they are, their Timeranger counterparts explain that they are in other times. Then we see the "Reds" in prehistoric times. Matoi is being mauled by primitive people, they offer him food. Tatsuya tries to communicate with Takku through his Chrono Changer but no use. BoriBaru and Rearu attack the Reds. They try to transform but they can't. Back in the present, Don Doneru orders the Zennith to steal, that it is their world now. Takku tries to contact Tatsuya and he can't get through. Mondo taps him and asks him if he works with the Timeranger. Mondo asks him for help and he agrees. Pierre appears and wants to kill the professor but is stopped. TimeFire arrives and fight the Zennith.

Then we see a cool scene in which the Yellows fight Zennith in black yukata. Shou fights the Zennith with a sword inside a temple-house. Sion throws darts at the Zennith from a roof of the houses. Sion falls down and the others gather him. it's Sealing and Battsu. Meanwhile the Pinks as cowgirls shoot up Zennith in the wild west. The Blues shoot the robots as well. Ayase claimed to Nagare that he was being a show off. Nagare repiled that he is one to talk. Dinaaru and Rupia show up. The Blues and Pinks hide in a store and they are out of bullets. Nagare reassures them that everything will be all right. "Family is to trust each other!", the brother and sister say in a mushy tone. Yuuri bitches about having no family. Ayase jokingly says, "What are you saying? You have us your precious friends."

Anyway, BoriBaru is beating up Tatsuya and Rearu knocked Matoi down on the ground. Tatsuya states, "I won't let them change my future!" He has said that before in the Timeranger series and is always though heroic. But Matoi brings it to a different light when he says "Stop only thinking about yourself!" He brings a different perspective to Tatsuya by saying, "If you can do that, why don't you change the future of the earth itself?" Tatsuya not understanding, he pleads, "What do you want me to do?" BoriBaru notices that they are having internal conflcit. I would say more like a leader rivarly complex. Matoi stands up and says, "In this kind of situation, all you need is spirit!" Tatsuya thinks about it and says, "yes, spirit!" He stands up and they both race against the two opponents in a fierce way. Then rocks come from above knocking down the foes. The rocks come from the primitative people that Matoi befriended. Tatsuya thanks them.

Time Fire continues to fight the Zenith. Pierre aims to kill the professor again but Time Fire blocks the attack. He gets hit and looses his uniform. As Naoto, he is on the floor in his City Guardian uniform. Mondo asks if he is alright, he repiled, "I got too exicted. It's just overheated." Takku notices the V-Commander and says, "With the Chronos Unit of the VRex, we might be able to intervene with the time and space continuum." Mondo says to try it. Naoto calls for VRex. VRex arises. Pierre cowards in fear. Mondo gazes at VRex in amazement. Takku asks Mondo to calculate the coordinates of the distortions. Takku flies into the VRex to start the Chronos Unit and open the door to the other realms. He enters through the mouth and lands on the unit. He says, "Chronos Unit Circuit, Connected!" Mondo says the coordinates, "X04, Y165." Naoto calls for the Rex Laser. VRex shoots the Rex Laser opening a portal. As VRex Robo, he opens the portal completely. Don Doneru, Lila and Gien fear as they realize that the three are getting the heroes back. The portals open, the GoGo Braces and Chrono Changers glow their owner's colors. Tatsuya says "A person who can't even change his own future can't change the future of the earth." He says, fully understanding what Matoi meant before. They rejoice and all transform. The rangers fight the opponents in their realms. The creatures drop back into 2000. The ten rangers stand on steps announcing themselves. Lila, Gien, Don Doneru and Pierre coward. "They're so persistent!", Naoto excliams. He throws away his hat and transforms into Time Fire. The GoGoV call for the Life Arrow (Bird) and do the Calamity Breaker on Zenith. The Timerangers refreeze the five criminals with the Bazooka. They then run after Don Doneru, Pierre, BoriBaru, Lila, and Gien. Gien, Lila and DonDoneru scold Pierre and disappear. Pierre is left alone to fight the sentai.

"Evil power of Saima, gives out last strength! Saima Fusion!" Pierre chants this and he fuses with BoriBaru. They are huge black creature (the one seen in Power Rangers Time Force and Lightspeed Rescue teamup). It attacks the city as a giant. Timered calls Takku for the TimeJets. Takku says, "Emergency system operation request!" In 3000, Time Provider slams the Time Jets and Time Shadow into the year 2000. The time jets fly by a dinosuar, ancient Eygpt, ancient Japan, Moses parting the red sea (never seen in PRTF), Dracula scaring a damsel (never seen in PRTF and I do not know how that fits in time) and Man landing on the moon. The Timerangers call for Time Robo Alpha formation. Time Robo Alpha and Time Shadow are formed. Mondo holding Takku is amazed. The two robos battle the cruel monster. The GoGoV cheer on from below and say to be spirited. "Delta Formation, Shadow Alpha!" Tatsuya calls and the Time Robo Alpha links up with Time Shadow. They do the Blizzard Slash with the Chrono Divider on the creature. But the creature stops the attack with his own sword. It blasts Shadow Alpha and the robo falls down. The creature is victorious. Go Yellow wishes they still had the Victory Robo. Go Blue resentfully reminded him that Area 55 is still under the ocean so they can't call for their precious trademark.

Mondo nodded and then looked at Time Robo's green mark. He commanded the Time Robo to stand up and then ordered Go Red to call for their robos. Go Red called for the Go Liner and Max Liner. Numbers ran through the green mark of Time Robo Alpha. They we say the Area 55. The Max Shuttle lifted up with the Liner. They shoot up into the sky. The Timerangers felt a shake in the cockpit. The Go Liner and Max Shuttle busted out of the green triangle and the Timerangers wondered what it was. The liners smoothed through the streets. Racing and then halted. The GoGoV were amazed. "They used Time Robo's time and space doorway as their path!", Mondo explained. Takku scolded the professor by saying "What have you done?! They're too big! It'll be dangerous unless you send them back immediately. 3 minutes at the most until the collapse begins." Go Red said it was enough time. I laughed, of course. The GoGoV raced to the liners and boarded their vehicles. "Emergency Fusion!" The arms picked themselves up and went on the legs of the Victory Robo. Victory Robo fought the monster. Rapid Ladder Bomber, Screw Spin Ladder and Windmill Ladder were attacks used. The monster focused negative energy on the robo.

They decided to put everyone's strength together. Not to give up. Time Red called for the Time and Space Sword. GoRed called for the Braver Sword. They clashed the swords together and striked the monster. The GoGoV ignited the Braver Sword and told the Timerangers to receive their burning rescue soul. Cool scene in which the fire was traded on the Time and Space sword. Timered even had the fire in the cockpit and he exclaimed, "This is their soul." Takku warned there was a 30 second limit. TimeFire called for VRex. Time Robo Alpha bodered the V Rex with the ignited sword. Time Red did a new attack, "Pressure Prominence!" They slashed the demon and it sparked alot. Both teams said, "Time up!" Pierre's soul escaped from BoriBaru. BoriBaru was shrunked and Pierred died.

Later near water, the two teams gathered. They watched as the Liners went into a portal in the sky. "They're going back to 1999," Matsuri said. Shou added, "yeah, back to the harsh battles aganist the Saima Clan." "But thanks to them, we have our current history," Sion said. "Combining out strength, history was made," Ayase noticed. "Because you are here, out future exists," Yuuri proudly said. Nagare then wondered if the time gang are from the future. "What do you mean?" the fourth child Daimon asked. Domon joked by saying if he didn't understand now, he would never. Daimon demanded to know. Matoi smiled and then apologized for saying they were doing a good job. Tatsuya thanked them and promised that they would apprehend the Londarz Clan with spirit!!!" They all made funny faces and smiled and laughed. Mondo and Naoto came over and they took a photo. Afterwards, there was a delightful interview session between the cast.

My Opinion
It was a great blend of what the two shows were about. With all the aspects of the characters. With Tatsuya's strive for being in control of his future, Yuuri's toughness and loneliness, Ayase's inappropriateness, Domon's strong-headness and Sion's innocence. And how that compares to their counterparts. Matsuri is softer that Yuuri and Matoi is less 'selfish' than Tatsuya in some respects. It's was great. I enjoyed Pierre and his energy.
